Purpose of meeting: Integration, update technical and user manual, and make changes to the mobile version

Meeting notes, discussion and issues:

Our group is still doing integration and debug the programs at the same time.

PC Current Status

The product to be 75% completed. Currently we are integrating the the project. During the integrating we optimize and organize our codes to achieve better performance.

Mobile Current Status

70% completed, left with logging and some GUI detail to be developed.

Documentation

Technical Manual and User Manual are updated. Test case for Window version is completed and added to the technical manual.

Our group is doing integration and debug the program at the same time. Our group is working on the C++ Windows Mobile version.

PC Current Status

The product to be 75% completed. Currently we are integrating the the project. During the integrating we optimize and organize our codes to achieve better performance.

Mobile Current Status

Current the product is 60% completed, there are still some problems to solve.

Documentation

Update technical manual and user manual. Test case is 60% completed.

Our group is still doing integration and debug the program at the same time. Our group has decided to change the whole mobile program from C# to C++, this is because C# encrypted file cannot be decrypted by C++ program or vice verse.

PC Current Status

The product to be 65% completed. Currently we are integrating the the project. During the integrating we optimize and organize our codes to achieve better performance.

Mobile Current Status

I would rate the product to be 50% completion. Convert the code from C# to C++.

Our group is now working on the function that are mention on the last meeting. Our group also discussed how to create a DLL for the mobile version to use Crypto++ library

PC Current Status

The product to be 60% completed. Currently we are integrating the the project. During the integrating we optimize and organize our codes to achieve better performance. The backup procedure is done, however it is not perfect, our group will think of a better ideas.

Mobile Current Status

I would rate the product to be 60% completion. Working on the DLL to use crypto++ library.

Our group is now working on the function that are mention on the last meeting. Our group also discussed on how to decrypt a cipher text with either windows or windows mobile version.

The issues:

Backup procedure
Research on how to use Crypto++ library in Mobile

Mobile Current Status

I would rate the product to be 50% completion. Got to research on how to use Crypto++ library therefore progress is held back.

Purpose of meeting: Discuss on the questions ask by Mr Adrain Choo during the presentation

After the presentation, we know that we are on the right track and we are making good progress. For the time being we will be improving our program to solve the issues Mr Adrain Choo brought up during the presentation.

The issues:

Password recovery
How long our program will take to encrypt movie of 200MB?
What if user is impatient when using our product, then what our product should provide?
Handling of files which Chinese file names

Basically the directions we are heading towards are:

Ease of use
Automation
Backing out gracefully
Protecting system files against attacks

The team is working hard to show case the project on the upcoming presentation and we are making good progress.

Discuss on the contents of the presentation
Rehearse through the presentation
Go through our project progress with Han Chiang and get some pointers for the upcoming presentation and enhancement that we can work on for the next 10 weeks
